All seminars will be held at the beautiful and picturesque  Acorn Bed & Breakfast in Killingworth, CT,
just 1 mile from Keith's studio.  Information and Reservations for Lodging can be made directly by contacting Innkeepers Carole and Richard Pleines at:   www.acornbedandbreakfast.com  -  Or by calling toll free:  877-978-7842.  A Full homemade Breakfast is provided daily.  Space is limited and rooms fill up quickly!
 

All seminars will include instruction on the use of oil paints and oil painting techniques.  (Where applicable or requested, accommodations will be made for acrylics and gouache.)

The Gunning Decoy Seminars are waterfowl decoys designed as decorative while maintaining
the characteristics and integrity of competition working decoys.  They are of a realistic design
and animation. The carving skill level is designed for novice to open and all blanks will be provided.

All seminars are 6 days carving and/or painting.  Sessions will run from 7:30am until 9:00pm.
(Students requiring extra time will be accommodated).  Reference material will be supplied,
however, you are encouraged to bring your own references.  A complete tool and supply list will
be provided to you,  upon receipt of your deposit and confirmation in the class.  Tools and supplies
will also be available for purchase at the seminar.  The Jaymes Company will provide these.

Class will be limited as Follows:  Decorative Carving and Painting Seminars to have a maximum of 6 Students;  Decoy carving class to have a maximum of 10 Students.

All seminars will begin on a Saturday evening, the day before the date posted.  We will have a
Get Acquainted Casual Dinner at Keith's studio.  Gourmet made-to-order boxed lunches will be
provided daily, Coffee, Tea, cold drinks, snacks, and fresh fruit will also be included.

Killingworth Connecticut is a historic rural New England town nestled between the Connecticut
River and the scenic Connecticut Shoreline.  It boarders Chatfield Hollow State Forest with endless
hiking trails and premier bird watching.
 

Upon confirmation, we will provide you with a list of the wide range of accommodations from
Spas to Historic Inns,   to Family hotels and B&Bs.  We highly recommend the Acorn Bed and Breakfast,
(but space is limited and the rooms do fill up quickly, so book early!)  There are also a wide range of
restaurants and sight seeing activities.  You are a short distance from the famous Mystic
Seaport and Aquarium; Foxwoods and Mohigan Sun Casinos; Factory Outlet Shopping; and pristine beaches.
A list of these and other activities will also be provided with your confirmation.

The cost of the seminars are $600.00 per session.
